Can I upgrade my Elo AIO system to Windows 11? Elo devices that are sold with Windows 10 are not eligible to be "upgraded" to Windows 11 through standard upgrade processes. To install Windows 11 on these systems you will need to purchase a licensed copy of Windows 11 from Microsoft and install it using the license key that comes with the new OS. The OEM license from Elo cannot be used as these are restricted to the exact Windows image and build they were sold with.
As far as hardware compatibility, you will need to run the Windows 11 PC Health Check APP on your device to see if it meets the Windows 11 System Requirements.
Most EloPOS and I-Series 2.0 and 3.0 devices with i3 (gen8 and up) i5 (gen8 and up), and i7 (gen 8 and up) processors will support Windows 11.
ECMG1, ECMG2, ECMG3, ECMG4 and older Elo AIO systems such as the B-Series, X-Series, E-Series, and I-Series 1.0 devices will NOT support Windows 11 due to chipset limitations.
NOTE: To see if there are Windows 11 driver packs for you Elo device, please visit the Computer Driver Pack Download's page. If a Windows 11 driver pack is not available, you may see errors in Device Manager and will need to connect to the internet and download any missing system drivers from the hardware manufacturers websites or through Windows updates.
