Please see the procedure below to change the UUID in an Elo X-Series Rev. B AIO touchcomputer.
Procedure
1. Check current UUID by entering into the ADMIN BIOS by restarting computer and pressing the Ctrl + F2 key and enter the password eloelo
In the below example, the current UUID is: 6F3282D4-07CF-11E8-9798-AB5F5FB00400
2. To change the UUID, download DMIEDIT.EXE from this link
3. Right click on the DMIEDIT.EXE and choose “Run as administrator”
4. Navigate to “System Information” and double click on the UUID line.
5. The DMI Editor will open, showing the current UUID. Change the values in the Hexadecimal Value field to your desired value and then choose OK.
6. Navigate to the Update tab in the DMI EDITOR and choose ALL
7. A dialog box will appear asking, “Are sure to update data?” Choose YES
8. Another dialog box will appear stating “Updating DMI data done!” Choose OK
9. Close the DMI Editor, restart the computer and enter the BIOS to see changed UUID
