This technical bulletin describes how to update the BIOS on an Elo X3 Rev. B AIO Touchcomputer.
1. Elo ESYX3 Rev. B AIO Touchcomputer. DO NOT USE THIS BIOS UPDATE ON ANY OTHER ELO TOUCH SYSTEMS PRODUCT AS SEVERE DAMAGE WILL OCCUR.
2. Bootable USB flash drive.

Note: this guide uses a 3rd party formatting tool, Elo is not responsible for any damage that may occur while using this tool and Elo does not offer any technical support for this 3rd party tool.
3. BIOS Update files for X3 Rev. B AIO Touchcomputer – currently V113
Procedure
1. Download the BIOS Update file .zip from the provided link above and save to a folder on your computer (preferably the desktop)
2. Copy all the contents of the .zip file onto the root of the bootable USB flash drive.
3. Place the USB flash drive into one of the USB ports on the Elo ESYX3 Rev. B AIO Touchcomputer.
4. Startup computer – when computer starts to boot, touch the SETUP icon in the upper right corner of the screen to enter the BIOS. (Alternatively you can connect a USB keyboard and tap the DEL key while computer is booting to enter the BIOS).
5. Once in the BIOS navigate to the BOOT section and set the USB flash drive as the First BOOT Device.
6. Save changes to BIOS and EXIT.
7. Computer should boot up into a CMD window.
8. Type in GO.BAT and hit Enter
9. The BIOS update will begin. It typically takes less than 5-minutes to complete. Do not interrupt the update as this can cause irreparable damage to the computer.
10. When BIOS update is complete, you will be directed back to a C:\ prompt. You may now remove the USB flash drive and restart the computer.
11. The new BIOS version should now be reflected in the Project Version in the BIOS under the MAIN tab – see below showing V113 after the update.
