This article provides information on how to change device mode from Core to Control mode in EloView 3

When a device enters Core - Locked mode, the communication between EloView and the device is lost, and it is not possible to control the device via EloView. In order to change a device's mode from Core - Locked to Control, you must Enterprise reset the device from its Control Panel, as well as delete and re-register the device under Control mode. 

To reiterate, follow the below steps in order.
1. Delete the device. 
2. Update subscription. 
3. Re-register the device in Control mode.
