This article explains what the Reset Exception feature does and how to use it

You can now create reset exceptions to preserve specific APK’s after an Enterprise Reset. When enabled, this feature retains saved or cached application data (using login credentials), even after performing an Enterprise Reset.

To configure, click the Reset Exception tab from Device or Group Settings. Next, click the slider to enable the feature. Then, copy/paste or type your application's package name in the available field. Click the '+' button to add to the list. You may repeat this process for as many apps as you require. When complete, be sure to click the Apply button to save changes to the device or device group.
