This article explains EloView 3 Group Batch Content Approval and how to use it
This procedure explains how to enable approval for group batch content. This feature is designed to allow admins to limit the quantity of devices a user can perform batch processes on with any single operation. This will ensure that large batch operations are approved and allowed.
1. Login to the EloView website – https://manage.eloview.com
2. In the “Accounts” section, select Account Settings then Settings
3. Selecting Edit will allow you to enable Batch Approval and designate the Batch Size. The Batch Size can range from 10 - 1000 devices.
4. Next under “Accounts” select Manage User to enable Batch Operations and/or Batch Approval for the appropriate user.
5. When you access your content library and drag and drop new content to a group, you will see the following message
6. To approve the batch change, another user with “Batch Approval” rights will need to navigate to Activity then Content Deployments and select Approve or Delete under “Actions”
Notifications of Batch Approval Requests are not automated. The person requesting the approval needs to notify an Approver that a request has been made.
Note: Only the Account Admin user may delegate Batch Approval permissions for other users in the EloView account. A non-Account Admin user, including Admin, may not delegate Batch Approval permissions to other users. If using Sub Accounts, then the main account's Account Admin should be sure to delegate Batch Approval permissions to a user in the Sub Account.
