This article describes the Watchdog Timer in EloView 3

This feature monitors for connection loss to the EloView cloud. Should a device lose connection for a user-specified length of time, “Watchdog Timer” will reboot your devices with efforts to reconnect to the EloView cloud. It is recommended to consider using this feature if your devices are connected to a network that is known to have intermittent stability issues.
