This article explains why a device may display the "Excuse Us For a Moment" message
The Excuse us for a moment... screen comes from the unit expecting content/settings from the EloView portal, but is not receiving anything.
There are two options to solve this.
First option:
Load content thru our EloView portal, (if you have an EloView account).
If you do not have an EloView account, you could request a 45 day free trial account: https://www.elotouch.com/eloview
Click on the “sign up for free” and follow the instructions on the screen, once the account is active and you push content from the account, the message will no longer appear.
Second option:
Use the unit in android home, outside EloView.
Log in the control panel – the default password is 1elo
Tap 5 times in the white area of the screen, a new button appears called "Android Home," click it, and from now on your device is in android home.
If you ever wish to return the device to the out of the box state, you must perform a factory reset (EloView).
