This article explains how to reset an Elo Android device to restore the Control Panel password
Devices are shipped from the factory with a default password of "1elo". When devices are added to an EloView account, they will inherit the account specific password which can be revealed from Device Settings in the EloView Portal.
If the default password is not working after confirming the password in the portal, follow the steps below to factory reset.
1. Unplug power
2. Hold HOME key and reconnect power
3. Continue holding HOME key until unit starts Android System Recovery
4. Press HOME key to select "wipe data/factory reset"
5. Press POWER key to select
6. Press HOME key until "YES - delete all user data" is selected
7. Press POWER key to select
8. After data wipe is complete, press HOME to "reboot system now".
