The Elo PayPoint Framework App for iPad is a legacy utility that has reached End-of-Life (EOL). It is no longer supported, maintained, or available for download from the Apple App Store.
Application Function & Historical Purpose
The PayPoint Framework App was originally provided as a test bench and validation utility for developers and field technicians to verify communication and hardware operation across integrated Elo PayPoint for iPad peripherals:
- Integrated 1D/2D Barcode Scanner
- Thermal Receipt Printer
- Magnetic Stripe / Encrypted Credit Card Reader (MSR)
- Cash Drawer Solenoid Trigger
- Customer Facing Display (CFD / 2x20 VFD)
ℹ Developer Guidance: For active iOS deployments utilizing PayPoint hardware, peripheral communication must be integrated directly into your Point-of-Sale (POS) application using native iOS peripheral SDKs and the Elo PayPoint iOS SDK.
