This article explains how to install an APK locally (side-load) from a USB drive using the devices EloView Control Panel and a USB thumb driver
Steps to install and run an APK automatically are found below.
- Copy Android app to 'EloViewApp' folder on a USB thumb drive.
- Plug thumb drive into the Elo Android device and go to Control Panel - Apps tab.
- You will see popup – Install LocalApp.
- You can click on it to install the app.
- On reboot this app will run.
- This mode turns off once a device is connected to cloud account and can be re-enabled from the cloud.
