This article explains how to troubleshoot screen rotation issues on Windows 7-based PayPoint devices

Windows 7 PayPoint, E158558, Screen Rotation Halted

Summary: When using the part number E158558, the unit’s screen will not rotate when the screen is flipped. This document will introduce a workaround for this issue.

1. Enter the EloTouchSolutions folder on the desktop. (If the EloTouchSolutions folder is not on the desktop, then it may also be found in the C: drive, here C:\EloTouchSolutions.) Open the System folder, choose G_Sensor, and open the STM_ScreenRot_v1.0.0.0 folder.
2. Create a shortcut of the program STM_sr_manager.
3. Open the Startup folder in Windows. To do this, press Windows Key+R to open the Run box, and type “shell:startup”, then press enter.
4. Copy and paste the program STM_sr_manager shortcut to the Windows Startup folder.
