This article provides the information and steps to reset the CMOS battery in a Revision B or Revision C ECMG2

To reset the CMOS battery in an Revision B or Revision C ECMG2, please follow the procedure below:

Hardware Needed
• Elo ECMG2B/C Computer Module 
• #2 Philipps Screwdriver 
• Flat blade Screwdriver

Steps
1. Using the Philipps screwdriver, remove 7 screws from the module (6 on sides 1 on top).
2. Using the flat blade screwdriver, remove the slotted silver slide screw from the side of the module.
3. Lift the top cover off the computer module to gain access to the CMOS Jumper.
4. Locate the RED colored CMOS Jumper on the board
5. Move the jumper from the default position to the CLR_CMOS position for 30-seconds, then move the jumper back to the default position.
6. Replace metal cover and all screws from steps 2 and 3.
