Procedure to Disable the Elo Splash Screen on a 90-Series Monitor
The Elo Logo setting is part of the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu within the Factory mode. The following instructions outline the steps to access the Factory menu and disable the Elo Logo setting.
Steps:
-
Connect the monitor: Connect the touch monitor to a video source and attach the remote control cable. Press the Power button to confirm proper display operation, then press Power again to turn off the display.
-
Access the Factory Menu: While holding the Select button, press the Power button to turn the monitor on. This action will allow access to the Factory menu.
-
Enter the OSD Menu: Press the Menu button. The letter F should appear in the upper left corner of the OSD menu. If the letter F does not appear, turn off the display and repeat step 2.
-
Navigate to the Factory Menu: Use the t or u (left or right arrow) buttons to scroll through the OSD menu until the F is highlighted. Press Select to enter the Factory menu.
-
Disable the Elo Logo: Use the u (right arrow) button to scroll through the options and highlight ELO LOGO. Use the t (left arrow) button to change the setting to Off, then press Select. Please ensure that no other options are modified unintentionally.
-
Exit the Factory Menu: Use the u button to scroll to the Exit option and press Select to exit the Factory menu.
-
Verify the Setting: Cycle power to the monitor (unplug and replug the DC power) to verify that the Elo logo no longer appears during the power-on sequence.
