This article provides instructions to add a local or offline URL into your EloView 3 content library
To add a local URL
1. Navigate to the App library located in the Content section
2. Click the + sign and select URL
3. Move tab from Web to Local
4. Upload your zip file containing your website. ( Keep in mind that all files and folders must reside in the root directory)
5. Input the name of your Home Page, icon and a brief description
6. Click Add Content. Your content is now available in the app library
7. Drag to the device you would like to play it on
Requirements for local URL:
Offline viewing for the site needs - all necessary files (HTML, Javascript, CSS, images, media, etc) are downloaded as a local copy to the device.
It does not support server side scripting like PHP, Ruby, etc.
Common use-case is device in a place with no/low internet connectivity or some media files used by the site are too large to download.

Support Angular.js based dynamic website which can automatically receive updates the next time the device goes online.
Using a MacOS driven computer to create a zipped folder for the local webapp can prove problematic while uploading. MacOS creates an additional folder within the root directory. The extra folder needs to be removed before uploading can be successful.
