This article explains the changes between EloView 3.46.50 and 4.44.82+a (Android 8.1 AOSP) and how they impact device experience.
Since the release of Android 8.1 AOSP for Android 7.1.2-based devices, there has been some confusion on exactly what functionality is lost as the Android 8.1 AOSP version is based on the Khaki EloView release (Sep 2019) and not the latest EloView release, K1 (Dec 2019). Below you will find a spreadsheet which references each EVR that is not present in Android 8.1 AOSP (currently 4.44.82+a).
In summary, if a device is running the latest EloView build, K1 - 3.46.50, and the device is then updated to the optional Android 8.1 release, Khaki - 4.44.82+a, the following fixes/enhancements will not be available on the device.
