This article explains how to configure Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML in EloView 3.
EloView supports Single Sign-On (SSO) using the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) standard. This allows users to access the EloView web portal using credentials provided by an identity provider such as Okta or OneLogin.
With SAML enabled, users authenticate through their organization's identity provider instead of entering a separate EloView username and password.
Set Up Single Sign-On
- Create a developer account with one of the following identity providers:
- From the identity provider, obtain the following information:
- SAML 2.0 Endpoint (HTTP)
- SLO Endpoint (HTTP)
- X.509 Certificate (without the BEGIN CERTIFICATE and END CERTIFICATE headers)
- Sign in to the EloView portal:
https://manage.eloview.com
- In the Accounts section, select Account Settings.
- Open the SAML tab and click Add.
- Enter the following information:
- Organization Name
- SSO Login URL
- SSO Logout URL
- Certificate
- Domains
- Users
- Enable the Status setting.
- After saving the configuration, EloView will generate the following URLs. Add these values to your identity provider configuration:
- ACS (Consumer) URL
- ACS (Consumer) URL Validator
- Audience
- Add the following SAML parameters in your identity provider configuration:
- firstName
- lastName
