This article explains how to open the cash drawer on my Elo PayPoint device

The Elo PayPoint (part numbers E346732, E463541 & E008250) point of sale cash drawer is opened by your point of sale software sending a signal to the device when needed. 

To manually open the cash drawer, you can engage the mechanism by hand. This is found under the PayPoint device. Simply lift the device and look for the manual trigger switch (white lever) and pull it until the the cash drawer opens. 

If the drawer does not open by engaging the manual trigger, check to make sure the cash drawer is not locked by using the key that was originally supplied with your PayPoint to unlock the drawer and then try again.
