This articles explains how to restore connectivity to devices if you whitelist EloView access by IP address
To restore connectivity to devices that have been whitelisted in EloView by IP address, see below:
On 3/22/2020, our CDN (Content Delivery Network) provider made an IP address change affecting access to eloview.com for some users. If you have firewall rules applied to your network to allow access to EloView by IP address, you will observe devices drop connection to our cloud services. To resolve this issue, we recommend that you apply whitelisting rules by domain and not by IP address.
EloView’s CDN provider recently updated a certificate for eloview.com and in that process decoupled static IP addresses attached to the eloview.com domain. Our CDN provider was unable to restore old IP addresses for the eloview.com domain and going forward new IP addresses will to be used to access eloview.com. It is strongly recommended not to access eloview.com domain using IP addresses as these are subject to change.
