This article explains how to assign a Specific EloView 3 (EV3) Role to SAML User Base.
In EloView 3 if SAML integration is in place, are you able to assign a specific role to the user base on AD Security group or some other attribute in the SAML payload?
Any available attribute can be used to pass the “roles” designation to EloView. When adding a new claim in AD, we recommend the following to match EloView attributes:

| firstName | Attribute | user.givenname |
| lastName | Attribute | user.surname |
| roles | Attribute | Based on user preference, any available attribute can be used. In EloView, by default, there are three types of roles available. Please apply one of those roles to the selected attribute.
