This article explains the device mode restriction when adding content to a device in EloView 3

After updating a device, you may receive an error message in EloView when attempting to drag and drop content to: "Drag and drop is not allowed here because the device mode restricts this action"



To correct this issue you will need to delete the device from the EloView portal and then re-add it again. Afterwards you should be able to drag and drop to the device. Multi-App Mode will not allow you to drag and drop.



If after doing the above you still receive the message that drag and drop is not allowed, make sure that "Multi-App Mode" is DISABLED in the EloView settings:
