Can I update my legacy PayPoint v.1 (model name Elo-PP1) that runs Android v. 5.0.2. to newer version of Android?

This articles discusses if the PayPoint v.1 (model name Elo-PP1) that runs Android v. 5.0.2. can be upgraded to newer version of Android

Legacy PayPoint for Android Rev A (1.0) devices, including the following part numbers: E301918, E314251 and E067745 were discontinued in 2018 and do not support updating to higher versions of Android. PayPoint 1.0 devices are a locked down system.

Updating capabilities were not added to the PayPoint product line until PayPoint Rev. B (2.0) devices were released.
