This article provides the steps to accessing and replacing the SSD on an Elo E-Series 2 POS System
Specifications
The E-Series 2 POS System ships standard with:
- 4GB 2666MHz DDR4 SO-DIMM on 1 of 2 slots
- (Expandable to 8GB maximum on 2 slots)
Replacement SSD Part Numbers
- M.2 SATA 128GB SSD – Elo P/N: E206352
- M.2 SATA 256GB SSD – Elo P/N: E206556
Steps
1. Disconnect power from the E-Series 2 system and place face down on a protective surface
2. Remove and save screw and connector cover
3. Locate SSD, see location highlighted below
4. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove retaining screw and lift SSD out
5. Replace SSD and secure with the Phillips screw
6. Replace connector cover and Phillips screw.
