This article explains which Elo Android devices are compatible with Device Modes in EloView 3.

Supported OS Versions

Device Modes are supported on Elo Android-based devices with the following operating system versions:

• Android 7.1.2 (AOSP) – Version 3.48.xx or later

• Android 8.1.0 (AOSP) – Version 4.48.xx+a or later

Note: Devices running Android 8.1.0 (GMS) with Google Play are only supported in Control Mode.

Important Notes

• To ensure full Device Mode functionality, update the device to the latest supported version of EloView.

• If a device cannot be updated to a supported version, it may be incompatible with Device Modes.

• First-generation Elo Android devices (discontinued) will appear as “1.0 – Standard” in the EloView Portal. These devices continue to support most features in Control Mode only.
