This article explains the BIOS and Boot order on Elo I-Series 3.0 with Linux
Elo I-Series 3.0 devices with the pre-installed Linux OS are equipped with Rockchip processors, featuring a system-on-chip (SoC) platform. Unlike x86-based PCs, Rockchip devices and other ARM-based systems do not have a traditional BIOS. Instead, they utilize U-Boot for boot management. Modifying the boot order on a Rockchip device typically involves altering the bootloader configuration, a task that requires developer expertise and familiarity with these systems.
This applies to the following Elo Linux devices:
- E143391 - 10-inch I-Series with Linux
- E240416 - 15-inch I-Series with Linux
- E131747 - 15-inch I-Series Slate with Linux
- E143205 - 22-inch I-Series with Linux
If you require a system that functions similarly to an Intel device, we recommend purchasing I-Series 3.0 devices with Intel processors.
