This article addresses extending the length of the RJ45 OSD Remote that is used on Elo products.

Occasionally, customers inquire about extending the length of the cable on the RJ45 OSD Remote. Please find the details below.
 

The standard Elo RJ45 OSD Remote (P/N: E483757) is equipped with a 1.5-meter cable. More information can be found here.

To extend the cable length, you can use an RJ45 Ethernet Coupler between the RJ45 remote connector and a CAT5 or CAT6 Ethernet cable. We have tested this configuration with a 6-foot CAT5 cable and a 16-foot CAT6 cable, both of which operated flawlessly, allowing full functionality of the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu on an Elo monitor.
