This article provides instructions on how to adjust the the OSD timeout on a 90-Series Open Frame monitor
Every Elo monitor is equipped with an On-Screen Display (OSD) menu that allows you to adjust various monitor settings. The OSD menu will appear on the screen when the monitor is receiving a valid video signal and the Menu button on the RJ45 OSD Remote is pressed. By default, the OSD menu is set to remain on the screen for 15 seconds. However, this duration can be adjusted, with a minimum of 5 seconds and a maximum of 60 seconds.
The below steps describe how to use the OSD menu to adjust the OSD Timeout.
Adjusting the OSD Timeout
To adjust the On-Screen Display (OSD) timeout:
1. Ensure the monitor is powered on and receiving a valid video signal.
2. Press the Menu button on the RJ45 OSD Remote to access the OSD menu.
3. Navigate to the OSD option using the Left or Right Arrow button on the RJ45 OSD Remote.
4. Press the Select button on the RJ45 OSD Remote to enter the OSD setting.
5. Navigate to the OSD Timeout option using the Left or Right Arrow button on the RJ45 OSD Remote.
6. Press the Select button on the RJ45 OSD Remote to enter the OSD Timeout menu.
7. To decrease the OSD Timeout (minimum is 5 seconds), move the OSD Timeout slider to the left using the Left Arrow button on the RJ45 OSD Remote.
- Below shows OSD Timeout adjusted to the minumum time of 5 seconds.
8. To increase the OSD Timeout (maximum is 60 seconds), move the OSD Timeout slider to the right using the Right Arrow button on the RJ45 OSD Remote.
- Below shows OSD Timeout adjusted to the maximum time of 60 seconds.
9. After adjusting the OSD Timeout to desired setting, press the Menu button on the RJ45 OSD Remote three times to exit the OSD menu.
10. After completing the steps above, the OSD menu will appear on the display screen for the selected duration whenever the OSD remote button is pressed.
