How to Verify RoHS Compliance When a Certificate Is Not Available
If you do not find a RoHS Certificate available in the Product Compliance Database, you can still confirm compliance by checking the Agency Approval Certificates located on the product’s specification page.
Verifying Compliance
- Go to the Product Specification Page for the relevant part.
- Open the Agency Approval Certificates, which are grouped or “bundled” with the product documentation.
- On the first page of this document, look for the listing of
EU Directive 2011/65/EU — this is the RoHS Directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
While this document is not a standalone RoHS Certificate, the presence of the EU Directive 2011/65/EU on the Agency Approval Certificate serves as valid proof that the product complies with RoHS requirements.
