This article explains how to use the Search Bar in my EloView 4 account
Using the Search Bar in EloView 4 allows users to quickly and efficiently locate specific devices, check their status, and manage their configurations. Whether you need to find all devices currently online, locate a particular device by its serial number, or check the OS360 status of multiple devices, the Search Bar helps streamline these tasks. This feature saves time, improves device management, and enhances overall operational efficiency by providing immediate access to essential information.
Steps for Using the Search Bar
1. Log In
- Access your EloView account by navigating to https://secure.eloview.com.
2. Locate the Search Bar
- Once logged in, navigate to the top of the User Window. You will find the Search Bar represented by a magnifying glass icon and the word "search" beside it. Click on the Search Bar to begin.
3. Choose What to Search For
- You can search for devices by various criteria, such as their current status, serial number, or OS360 status. Here are three examples of how to use the Search Bar:
- Scroll down to the "Filters" section.
- Place a tick mark in the box beside "Online" under the "Status" column.
- The results will appear beneath the Search Bar, showing the number of devices currently online.
- Click on "See results" to view a list of all online devices.
- Scroll down to the "Attributes and Operators" area.
- Click on "Serial:" and enter the serial number of the device within quotation marks (e.g., "123456789").
- Click on the results to navigate directly to the device screen for the specified serial number.
- Scroll down to the "Filters" section.
- Place a tick mark in the box beside "Active" or "Inactive," depending on the status you want to search for.

Click on the results to view a list of devices with the selected OS360 status.
