This article addresses the OS 360 license policy.
🔒 OS 360 License Transfer Policy
Q: Can my OS 360 license be transferred to another device if the original device is damaged or destroyed?
A: No. OS 360 licenses are non-transferable and tied to the original hardware.
🧾 License Scope
OS 360 coverage is assigned to a specific Elo device at the time of purchase and is valid for that device only. The license cannot be transferred to another unit—even in the case of accidental damage, loss, or destruction.
💡 What Happens If My Device Fails?
If your device fails and is replaced under Elo’s hardware warranty:
The OS 360 license may be transferred to the replacement unit—if the replacement is handled through Elo’s RMA process and is a direct equivalent device.
Contact Elo Support with your RMA and OS 360 license details to confirm eligibility.
If the failure is outside of warranty or the replacement is not processed through Elo, a new OS 360 license must be purchased for the new device.
