October 2025 Maintenance Release for Android 14 Devices

7.000.004.0085+gen5p: I-Series 5 Standard and Backpack 5 Standard

On October 15th, 2025, Elo will release new OS updates for the I-Series 5 and Backpack 5 devices running Android 14. These updates include feature enhancements and bug fixes to improve device performance and usability.

This release delivers feature parity with the previous I-Series 4 Android 12 release (6.000.019.0028+p, March 2025). All applicable features, improvements, and fixes from that release are included for these platforms.

Some of the new features and enhancements as part of these releases: 
•    Improved navigation bar behavior for a steadier kiosk experience.
•    Improved enterprise Wi-Fi configuration on Android 14.
•    Improved reliability of the setNetwork() API on Android 14.
•    Improved delayed content deployment so it resumes seamlessly when devices come online.
•    Improved migration to I-Series 5 and Backpack 5 with EloViewHome SDK 2.0.
•    Resolved external-display orientation and scaling issues on Backpack 5.

Method of Distribution
This update will be available for download through the EloView cloud portal as dropdown and default OTA updates, and through OEMConfig as manual and auto OTA updates on October 15th, 2025.
