Release Summary
Beginning July 14, 2026, Elo will release maintenance updates for supported Android 12 and Android 14 devices through EloView. These releases provide feature parity with the Android 12 MR-25 release (6.000.025.0110+p). The Android 14 release also includes several additional improvements specific to the I-Series 5 platform.
Android 14 Enhancements
The following enhancements and fixes are included for I-Series 5 Standard, Backpack 5, M51, and M51C devices:
- Added the ability to disable Android Safe Media Volume, preventing external USB audio devices from automatically resetting to a low volume after a reboot.
- Resolved an issue that prevented USB ports from being enabled through OEMConfig or Device Settings when the device was powered using PoE due to incorrect power negotiation.
- Resolved an issue where simultaneous Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet connections did not function correctly on I-Series 5 devices.
- Resolved an issue where devices returning online in Multi-App Mode failed to complete application enforcement downloads.
- Resolved an issue where the default external display orientation was rotated incorrectly on I-Series 5 devices.
