Adding content to a device in EloView allows you to manage and control the digital experience displayed on Elo devices remotely. This is essential for businesses using Elo devices for digital signage, interactive kiosks, or point-of-sale (POS) systems, as it ensures that the latest marketing materials, product information, promotions, or interactive content are consistently and efficiently updated across all devices. By centrally managing content through EloView, you maintain brand consistency, streamline content deployment, and improve customer engagement without needing manual updates at each device location.
1. Log In:
- Access your EloView account by navigating to https://secure.eloview.com.
2. Navigate to Devices:
- Go to the "Devices" tab.
- Click on the device you want to add content to and drag it into the Deployment bar.
3. Navigate to Content:
- Go to the "Content" tab.
- Click on the content you want to add and drag it into the Deployment bar.
4. Deployment:
- To deploy content immediately, click "Deploy Now."
- To schedule deployment for a later date/time, click "Schedule," set the desired date/time, and click "Add to Deployment Package."
- Click "Deploy Scheduled."
5. Verify Deployment:
- When prompted, "Are you sure you want to proceed with the deployment?" choose "Yes" to continue or "No" to cancel.
6. Deployment Message:
- A message stating "Deploying Content" will briefly appear.
7. Content Download to Device:
- Return to the "Devices" tab and locate the device.
- A yellow progress indicator in the Content column shows the content is downloading.
- The indicator turns green once the download is complete.
8. Verify Device Content:
- After the download is complete, click on the device and go to the "Contents on Device" tab to confirm the deployment.
