This article provides information on the 2300 IntelliTouch Serial Controller
The 2300 was the first IntelliTouch SmartSet serial controller (first to use the 10-byte SmartSet data packet). It was the last IntelliTouch controller to offer extensive on-board jumper configuration. It could be configured either by the jumpers or by sending SmartSet commands. The driver could obtain configuration information either from the on-board jumpers or from the on-board NVRAM (determined by one of the jumper settings). It was discontinued around 2005.
