This article explains how to modify the Elo Android USB Expansion Module (P/N: E923781 or E412240) to remove the power cable

Please see the attached document for photos of the steps below to modify the Elo Android USB Expansion Module (P/N: E923781 or E412240) to remove the power cable.

1. Remove the six (6) #1 Phillips head screws from the top of the module.
 
2. Lift the lid of the module upward and to the left (the side where the cables enter) and remove the lower connector from the circuit board that is attached to the bottom side of the lid, and remove the power cable from the unit. 

3. Use zip ties to secure the cables. One around the USB cable and the connector cable. One to secure the USB cable to the metal loop on the module.
   
4. Reassemble expansion module by placing the lid back on and tightening the six screws.
