The Elo 3243L Open Frame TouchPro® PCAP Monitor features Touch Through capability, allowing the display to detect touches through an added glass overlay up to 6 mm thick (with no air gap) placed directly over the front touchscreen sensor.
This feature is commonly used in retail storefront windows, outdoor kiosks, and secure enclosure installations to enable 24/7 interactive operation through exterior glazing.
⚠️ Operational Constraints:
- Enabling Touch Through mode limits simultaneous touch points to a maximum of 2 touches.
- There must be zero air gap between the monitor's touch surface and the overlay glass.
