This article provides steps to flash the I-Series 3.0 device to enable Touch Through. 

To enable Touch Through capabilities on Elo's i-Series 2.0 and 3.0 devices (15-inch and 22-inch), you must flash the firmware. Note: 10-inch i-Series not applicable.

Required Materials:

• i-series 2.0 or 3.0 device (15-inch or 22-inch)
• Micro SD card
• Firmware Update files
  • 15-inch: Update.xcfg
  • 22-inch: Update.xcfg
• Elo Mxt Touch FW Update application (should already be on the i-Series device in the apps area)

Steps

1. Save update.xcfg to the micro SD Card
2. Place the i-series 2.0 or 3.0 device into Android Home Mode
3. Insert the SD card into the i-series device
4. Go to Android Apps and open the app “Elo Mxt Touch FW update” 
5. Select UPDATE FROM SD CARD
   • Do not touch the screen during the update process. 

• Process only takes a few seconds to complete. When update is completed you will receive a message "Update finished!"

• Acceptable material and thickness: <><></></>2.6mm glass
• Max air gap allowed between glass and touch sensor +0.5mm
• 1 touch fully supported, 2 touch can work (performance is not as good as the standard config file) 

Reverting Back to Factory FW

• To set touch controller back to factory touch firmware, you will need to flash the firmware again by following the above steps only use the FW files below:
  • 15-inch Factory FW
  • 22-inch Factory FW
