Below describes how to clean the platen roller on an Epson TMT88 receipt printer.

Depending on the roll paper used, paper dust may stick to the platen roller and cause an irregular paper feed.

1. Press the cover open lever to open the roll paper cover. 



2. To remove the paper dust, clean the platen roller with a cotton swab moistened with water.




3. Turn on the printer power only after the water has completely dried.
