How to Set Up the Status Light Kit (SLK) on EloPOS and I-Series 2.0 Windows Devices

This article provides driver installation and testing procedures for configuring the Elo Status Light Kit (SLK) on compatible EloPOS and I-Series 2.0 for Windows systems.

Step 1: Download the Processor-Specific Driver Pack

Download the Windows 10 driver pack that matches your device's processor:

• Intel Core i3 & i5 Models:
  Driver_Pack_EloPOS_WLIDS 2.0_E3E5_i3i5_200609.zip (1.2 GB)
• Intel Celeron Models:
  Driver_Pack_EloPOS_WLIDS 2.0_E2_i2_200609.zip (1.04 GB)

Step 2: Install the EAPI Light Driver

1. Extract the downloaded driver pack archive, then open the Peripherals folder.

   

2. Open the Light folder.

   

3. Extract the EAPI folder and launch Setup.exe. 

   

4. The EAPI driver installer will initialize.

   

5. Click Next to proceed with the driver installation.

   

6. When prompted that setup is complete, click Finish.

   

Step 3: Test with the Peripheral Light Control Demo App

1. Navigate to the DemoApp folder within the extracted Light directory.

   

2. Double-click Peripheral_Light_Control.exe to launch the test utility.

   

3. Select the corresponding mounting location (e.g., Top, Left, Right) where the Status Light Kit is physically attached to verify color switching and lighting sequences.
