This article explains EloView 3 Device Control Panel Password Restricted Access, and how to use it
Within EloView, you can set up two levels of access for the Elo Control Panel on Elo devices – Standard Access, and Restricted Access. If a user types in an “Access Restricted Password” on the device Control Panel, the user will not have access to OS Upgrades, Apps tab and Advanced Android Settings. The options on the Network tab can be disabled, to include adding a Network, uploading a Network CSV file and disabling a Network. The Options on the Settings tab can also be disabled, to include updating the device and Enterprise reset. Utilizing the “Access Restricted Password” feature enhances security on the device, preventing unauthorized changes to specific areas of the device.
