This article addresses the ability to use an external webcam on an Elo Android I-Series device.

To by-pass the internal integrated Elo webcam on the I-Series devices with Android and use an external webcam, Native Android API's will not work for this type of setup. Instead, you should use UVC (USB Video Class) API's as described in this Github article .
