This article explains how to enable Multiple App Mode in EloView 3
This feature is enabled by default on Elo M50 and M60 mobile devices.
When there is an instance, you want to have one or more apps available on your device instead of just one in kiosk mode, you can enable Multiple Apps Mode and organize them on an apps page. You get to choose which apps to display and users can pick which ones they want to use. They can switch between the opened apps and the apps page by using the navigation bar and home button. You can also customize the apps page by adding a wallpaper photo, your business logo, your device's serial number, or a color theme to make it more personalized.
Here are step-by-step instructions on how to use the EloView website to manage apps on your device(s) and customize the Multiple App Mode menu:
To enable Multiple App Mode on your device:
1. Go to the EloView website at https://manage.eloview.com and log in.
2. If you haven't already, upload your apps to the application library.
3. Next, in the "Devices" section, select the appropriate device that you want to enable Multiple App Mode for.
4. In the "Settings" area, click on the "Edit" button.
5. Enable Multiple App Mode by switching the toggle to green, then click "Apply".
6. In the "Apps" area, choose which User Installed Apps you want to display on the device's Apps Page.
7. Click on the "Edit" button.
8. Choose which app(s) you want to install or uninstall from the device.
9. Click on the "Apply" button when you're done.
Note: In Multiple App Mode, dragging and dropping "DnD" content to a device is prevented. If you want to restore this function, disable Multiple App Mode and return the device to single app "kiosk" mode.
To install and uninstall an app group-wide:
1. In the "Devices" section, choose the appropriate Group that you want to install the application onto by clicking the cog icon beside the group name.
2. In the "Apps" area, click on the "Edit" button.
3. Choose which app(s) you want to install or uninstall from the device.
4. Click on the "Apply" button when you're done.
To install and uninstall an app account-wide:
1. In the "Account Settings" section, select the "Apps" tab.
2. In the "Apps" area, click on the "Edit" button.
3. Choose which app(s) you want to install or uninstall from the device.
4. Click on the "Apply" button when you're done.
To customize the Multiple App Mode menu:
1. In the "Account Settings" section, select the "Branding" tab.
2. Adjust the preferences as needed.
