This article explains the Reboot Timer / Watchdog Timer in EloView 4
Reboot Timer/Watchdog Timer Explained
Steps for configuring device reboot with or without a detected network disruption can be found below.
When selecting “after network disruption,” that will imply that a network disconnect equal to or greater than the value specified must be met before the device is flagged for reboot on the next designated time frame.
Example:
After network disruption of 1hr"
In this configuration, a reboot will occur daily at 1:25 PM if a loss of connectivity equaling 1 hour or greater is detected during that 24 hour period.
If the device remains online within that 24 hour period and no loss of connection to EloView cloud is detected, the reboot operation will skip and advance to the next target date.
If you elect for a reboot to occur without checking the “after network disruption” box, the reboot operation will occur at the designated rhythm regardless of network activity.
