This article explains how to monitor user activity in EloView 4
EloView automatically monitors and records user activity taking place on the web portal as well as the devices. This tracking can help you proactively detect and stop threats, and determine if users are misusing access privileges or engaging in potentially risking behavior. Specifically, EloView will track the following types of user activity:
- User Manipulation - Login, Logout, Invite, Delete, Edit Settings, Update Permissions
- Content Manipulation - Add, Edit, Delete, Upload, Push Content
- Scheduled Content Manipulation
- Device Manipulation - Add, Edit, Delete, Reboot Device, Data Reset
- Auth Manipulation
- Account Settings Manipulation
Viewing User Activity Logs
1. Login to your EloView account https://secure.eloview.com/
2. Go to the Dashboard and click on Activity Logs
3. All recorded user activity will be displayed
4. If necessary, click inside the search field to perform a freeform or advanced search.
5. Click on a drop down arrow beside each entry for additional information about the activity.
6. You can sort activity logs by Day, Month, Quarter, Year, or a Custom Range
7. You can also arrange the order of activity logs by Activity, User, Date/Name by clicking on the Sort button
8. To apply a filter, click on the plus sign + beside the desired filter to select the filter type

Available filters
- Log Type: Activity Log, Alert, Timeline
- Done From: From Cloud, From Device
- Action Type: Auth, User, Device, Content, Group, Account Settings, Organization, Organization Roles, Sticky Filter, Filter
- Action Code: Login, Logout, Invite, Add, Edit, Delete, Reboot, Reset, Push, Create, Save, Remove, Event, Reorder
9. You can export a .csv file containing user activity by clicking on the Export Logs icon.
