On July 3, 2024, Elo will release a new OS update for its Android 10 devices. This update includes feature enhancements and bug fixes that will improve the performance and usability of these devices.

Some of the new features and enhancements include: 
•    Ability to capture UI operations in logs.
•    Support for Prolific Adapter for USB Cash Drawer.
•    Support for cash drawers via the Epson SDK in the peripheral connect service.
•    Resolved an inconsistency in the Time Zone selection screen during initial setup of device.
•    Resolved an issue where, in some cases, the AOSP virtual keyboard was not appearing on screen.
•    Resolved an issue where, in some cases, the standard backpack wasn’t working with the 1502L HD monitor.

Method of Distribution
This update will be available for download on the EloView cloud portal as a dropdown OTA on July 3, 2024, and will become the default OTA download on EloView and OEMConfig as of July 10, 2024.
