This article explains how to reset an Elo device to factory settings on the device
A full factory reset should only be performed if all other recovery methods and troubleshooting options have failed. Performing a full factory reset will result in data loss. This option will restore the original factory image state by erasing all data in the main storage on the Elo I-Series 4.0.
Note: If you have added a Google Account to the Elo I-Series 4.0, ensure you have your Google credentials (username and password) before performing a factory reset from the Android bootloader menu. Without these credentials, you will not be able to use the device after the reset. This is a security measure to prevent unauthorized users from accessing the device after a factory reset.
To Reset:
1. Navigate to Android Settings → System → Advanced → Reset Options.
2. Tap Erase all data.
3. Under Erase all data (factory reset), tap Erase all data.
4. Confirm by tapping Erase all data again.
5. Once the process is complete, the device will automatically reboot.
