This article provides a step-by-step guide to registering a device in your EloView 4 account, including how to add a device, monitor its status, and ensure it is configured with the correct content.
Steps to Register a Device:
1. Log in to Your EloView Account:
- Navigate to the EloView login page: https://secure.eloview.com/
- Enter your credentials to access your account.
2. Add a New Device:
- In the Devices section, click the Add Device button.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Device Name
- Serial Number
- Device Mode
- If you are registering an Elo Pay device, check the Elo Pay box. Leave this box unchecked if it is not an Elo Pay device.
- Once all information is entered, click the Save button.
3. Confirmation of Device Addition:
- A message stating "Device being added." will briefly appear.
- Refresh the screen to view the newly added device.
- The device should now be visible in the Device List.
4. Monitor Device Status:
- When the newly registered device comes online, the Status icon will turn green, indicating the device is online and connected.
5. Automatic Content Configuration:
- The newly added device will automatically search for and retrieve configured content from the EloView cloud server.
- If no content has been configured for the device in EloView, the message "No content is configured for this device." will appear on the device screen.

6. Content Download:
- Once content has been assigned to the device in EloView, it will automatically download the new content and update accordingly.
