This guide outlines the steps for creating and applying tags in EloView. Tags are useful for organizing and managing your devices more efficiently within the platform. Follow these instructions to create a new tag, assign it to a device, and ensure it is properly displayed in your device list.
Steps for Creating & Applying Tags
1. Log In
- Access your EloView account by navigating to https://secure.eloview.com.
2. Create a New Tag
- Navigate to the Devices tab.
- Click the "+" icon in the Tags section.
- Enter a name for the new tag.

Click Save.
- A confirmation message will appear: "Tag Added Successfully."
3. Apply the Tag to a Device
- Select the device to which you want to apply the tag.
- Click the Add Tag button.
- Begin typing the tag name in the search field.
- Select the desired tag when it appears.

Click the "+" symbol and then choose Save.
- A pop-up message will appear: "Tag applied to device. Please refresh."
4. Confirm the Tag Application
- Refresh the page.
- Verify that the new tag is visible in the Tag column for the device.
