On September 6, 2024, Elo will release a new OS update for its Android 12 devices. This update includes feature enhancements and bug fixes that will improve the performance and usability of these devices.
 
Some of the new features and enhancements include: 
 
•    Added a one-time complimentary software update to the Elo Out of Box Experience, allowing devices to upgrade to the latest available software within the same Android base version.
•    Implemented a secure application distribution mechanism for OS360 customers with offline devices to update the Elo Android devices.
•    Improved OS360 Status message for EloView to reflect the actual OS360 purchase status.
•    Resolved an issue where setting a certain Screen Density value caused misalignment of the Android Navigation Bar buttons.
•    Resolved an inconsistency in the Time Zone selection screen during initial setup of device.
•    Resolved an issue where, in some cases, the standard backpack wasn’t working with the 1502L HD monitor.

Method of Distribution
This update will be available for download on the EloView cloud portal as a dropdown OTA on September 6, 2024, and will become the default OTA download on EloView and OEMConfig as of September 13, 2024.
