On October 31st, 2024, Elo will release a new OS update for its Android 7 and 8 devices. This update includes feature enhancements and bug fixes that will improve the performance and usability of these devices.
 
Some of the feature enhancements and bug fixes include: 
 
•    Resolved an issue where in some cases installing TeamViewer 15.38.15 on 4.0 devices caused the foreground app to restart.
•    Resolved an issue where some devices, after an OTA update and factory reset, pointed to EloView 4 instead of EloView 3.
•    Resolved an issue on PayPoint Plus devices where switching the Honeywell N4680 scanner from Keyboard to Com mode required a reboot to restore scanning functionality.

Method of Distribution
This update will be available for download on the EloView cloud portal as a dropdown OTA on October 31st, 2024, and will become the default OTA download on EloView as of November 7th, 2024.
